"We are so lucky we have such a perfect way to look back at our day!
Even though we didn’t meet Dan until the day it was like we had known him ages! He was so lovely and down to earth and easy to talk too! He effortlessly blended in to our day and made us and our guests feel at ease instantly! We can’t thank Daniel enough for everything and are so grateful!" Georgia & Ed
HI I'M DANIEL
Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved films and the art of filmmaking. Since being terrified the first time I saw films like 'The Wizard of Oz' and 'Willow', right through to finally being able to share the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy with my children (who were definitely too young at the time) my passion for films has never left me. As a child, one of four boys I was unjustly dubbed the 'snitchy' one for my absolute joy in grassing my siblings up. What none of us realised at the time, I was actually crafting my talent for telling stories.
Since 2008, I’ve been showing up at weddings and calling it work. I've seriously been to hundreds and they've all been awesome. Each and every wedding has been unique and beautiful and I am genuinely honoured to share such a momentous moment in a couples story.
I've also packed the best part of my life into the last decade. I met 'the one' and we bought a house. We had a kid and started a business. Had another kid because hey who needs sleep? I married 'the one' and 10 years later here we are settling into our forever home to continue the next chapter.
SOME ODDLY INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME
I'M A DESKAHOLIC
It's no laughing matter. As a child I would pull my desk away from the wall and sit behind it like some kind of bank manager. I've had countless desks over the years much to my wife's annoyance and each one has been my last. On a positive note though, I've had my current desk for 3 months... well nearly 3 months.
I LOVE A FAD
I'm forever trying to optimise my life. Whether it be a self help book, alternative gym workout or new found diet I'm there! I recently turned Vegan after watching a documentary but then swiftly turned back when I realised I couldn't have chocolate anymore.
I'VE MESSED UP ONE WEDDING VIDEO
It was my own. In my defence I had other things on my mind and as a result I may have forgotten to turn the microphone on resulting in a silent film. We may dub it over one day, I've certainly listened to enough vows to know what to say. In fact I'm pretty certain I could step in should your own celebrant be otherwise indisposed.
I'M A PEOPLE PLEASER
I think that comes from being a middle child but my absolute goal in life is to support and help others. That's what makes me a better wedding videographer because I'm not there for me, I'm there for you.
