YOU GUYS? …WHAT DO YOU DO?..HOW DO YOU SPEND YOUR DAYS?..WHAT’S IMPORTANT IN LIFE?
Jade works in Procurement for a Housing Association spending the majority of the last year working from home. Tiago is a Finance Manager for Listers Seat and loveeeeees cars! We enjoy socialising (meals/drinks out), fitness/gym and holidays! We became fur parents last June so recently our time is spent walking him and stopping him from terrorising everyone. Our family is really important to us! We both have really good, strong relationships with our families even though a lot of them live abroad hence why we love to make the most of travelling.
THE PROPOSAL? …TELL ME EVERYTHING
We got engaged on 10th April 2017 at Cape Point in South Africa. We were there visiting Tiago’s family in South Africa and Mozambique. Jade had absolutely no clue! Tiago was pretty nervous but once he popped the question there were lots of happy tears. We were with Tiago’s auntie, uncle and cousin at the time so they captured the whole thing for us.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE OVER OTHERS?
We were meant to get married in Spain with approximately 130 guests in 2020 which got postponed to 2021 but we had to cancel due to so much uncertainty. The church ceremony is important as Tiago’s family are catholic. We have friends that work/have worked at Shustoke Barn so it sprung to mind. We love how it’s got olive trees in the court yard so it’s got that nod to Spain.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING DAY FILMED AND WHY DID YOU PICK ME?
We picked you from recommendations from a friend and also our photographer. We want to use the video to share with our family and friends that haven’t been able to join us due to restrictions so it’s so important that all the key elements are captured and they can see how amazing our day was.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST HOPE FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY?
Our biggest hope is that we genuinely have the best day of our lives! With it only being 15 of us some of the pressure of having loads of people watching us has gone so we can actually enjoy it and have fun. The only other hope is that it stays dry!
