Becca & Clay had their own destination wedding, travelling over from Maryland USA to be married at the Lowry in Salford, Manchester on Easter Sunday 21st April 2019
Having shot in and around Media City before I was so excited to return. The epic landscape with its high rise buildings, intriguing architectural shapes and of course the quays adds a whole new dimension to the backdrop.
Becca began the day with her bridesmaids getting ready on a yacht. followed by the modern tradition of having a 'first look' with Clay on the front of the boat. To say Clay was taken aback by Becca in her wedding dress is an understatement and I have to say I'm a big fan of this new tradition.
Over at the Lowry, the ceremony was orchestrated by Becca's sister Jess which added a lovely personal touch. Then it was up to the reception room with its panoramic views over the quays; sites including, the Coronation street studios, The BBC and Old Trafford. I don't think there was a single guest that didn't stand and appreciate the sunset that evening.
