Dominika & Michael would say they are the opposite sides of the same coin. As the saying goes opposites really do attract! As long as they spend time together they're content, their favourite past time being reading a book, on a walk or wrapped up on the sofa at home with their faithful and needy labrador Sherlock between them. "The most important thing is to cherish the little moments in life and never take anything for granted" ♡
The proposal was three months earlier than planned by Michael as he was worried Dominika would inevitably find the ring buried at the back of the storage press (even though she didn't expect it as Michael was very good at keeping it very hush hush however all through the week since he got the ring she kept on writing out "Mrs Mahony" at work without even realising it... bizzare but true... ). It was very sweet as he proposed in the first place they lived together as a couple and he wanted that to be their memento (he even tidied up for the occasion bless him) ♡
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ETTINGTON PARK?
"We fell in love with Ettington Park from the moment we saw it online. The architecture was breathtaking and the prospect of having the reception in a room called " The Library" considering we're bookworms was perfect for us. When we arrived we didn't want to get our hopes up so we asked to be told what the costs were before we were shown around as we didn't think we could afford it. But low and behold we could and we couldn't have been happier!"
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING DAY FILMED AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE US?
Both sets of our parents had a wedding video and watching them (even though these were the old drawn out 12 hour tapes!) was an incredible experience and it captured so many memories that our parents missed and it was really entertaining seeing them at our age! That combined with everyone who has been married advising us to get a videographer as the day goes in a blur and we're bound to get overwhelmed and miss subtle things . So that was decided for us, booking you was the first thing we did after booking our venue. We chose you as we loved the videos in your portfolio, the documentary style, the whole montage was just breathtaking. So there wasn't any hesitation on our part.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST HOPE FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY?
That we don't fall over on the dance floor during our first dance! Seriously though we just hope that everyone enjoyes themselves! What more could we wish for when we're going to be surrounded by our closest family and friends on the biggest days of our lives ♡
