Leia & Ben have been together 10 years and met at school (although they didn't get together until they were 18/19). Ben is Director of a knitwear manufacturer (means free jumpers for Leia) and Leia is a Marketing manager for a travel company. Ben works incredibly hard and often works 60 hour weeks, meaning their weekends are heaven! They are both huge Leicester City fans, as are their whole families, so are at the games every other weekend. The other weekends they are surrounded by family or friends eating and drinking.
One weekend back in 2017 they went to Venice for Leia's birthday. At the airport, chaos ensued and their flight was nearly missed when Leia's Ugg boot got stuck in the security scanner for 45 minutes! The drama didn't spoil their plans though and Ben proposed in San Marc's Square at a little coffee shop, with a string quartet playing in the background. He said he had got her a present for getting a new job and he just placed the box on the table. Instantly crying, Leia of course said YES and they spent the rest of the weekend on cloud 9, drinking wine and eating pizza.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING VENUE OVER OTHERS?
I had always dreamt of getting married at Kilworth House because of the stunning orangery. It's a famous around our area for being a beautiful wedding venue. When we got engaged Ben said how much he loved it too. It's also where he asked my dad for his permission to ask me to be his wife, so it's a very special place to us.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING DAY FILMED AND WHY DID YOU PICK US?
We want to be able to look back and watch it over and over again. I can imagine if you're ever having a down day you can watch your wedding video and instantly feel better! We knew we wanted to watch the full day and see bits we wouldn't have seen normally, like guests facial expressions, each other getting ready etc. Daniel Yates Films style is perfect for us as it captures the day romantically whilst not looking staged.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST HOPE FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY?
That all of our guests have the best day filled with happy tears, laughter and dancing! It's so important to us to share this with our family and friends and most of all we can't wait to finally be Mr and Mrs.
